In a Nutshell
Ginny Larkin (Manager): "We send residents an activity programme every two weeks which is full of varied events. It's a small friendly community where the staff and residents are very much part of one happy team."

Ruby Waterer (resident): Ruby has lived at Imperial Court for over 10 years and has three daughters and a son, four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren who visit her regularly.

At  Imperial Court, Ruby joins in everything that is happening and enjoys the bingo sessions. She also goes to the gym which she says is helping to keep her fit and enjoys going on ExtraCare trips including a visit to Birmingham's Symphony Hall.

Recently Ruby satisfied a lifelong ambition to go on a trip in a balloon and she raised more than £270 sponsorship from family, friends and residents for Arthritis Research in recognition of her achievement. "It was a very enjoyable trip and I'd love to do it again," she says.
