Coronavirus (Covid-19) response
In response to concerns about Covid-19 at New Oscott Village, residents have been advised to, at different times, remain within the location grounds or in their own apartments. We made these decisions because we have had residents with official diagnoses of Covid-19, and needed to restrict the spread of the virus within the community.
After careful review and in response to the updated Government guidance, we have now relaxed our restrictions and residents may now leave the grounds to exercise, use public spaces, or shop for essentials such as food or medicine. However, we encourage residents to think very carefully before they leave the site: remaining within the grounds will keep them and our communities safer. We request that residents leaving the site do not use public transport or visit other households. Those advised by the NHS to shield should continue to remain at home. Those over 70 should follow government advice to stay at home as much as possible, and take particular care to minimise contact with others outside of their own household.
Some of our non-essential services, such as the bar, gym, beauty salon, and hairdresser are not currently open, and the village restaurant is offering a delivery and takeaway service only. External visitors are not allowed unless authorised by the onsite manager.
Thank you for helping our community to remain safe at this difficult time.

A guide to our charges is set out here. These charges may vary between different ExtraCare Schemes and Villages.
