The work of our Board is supported by four Board Committees:

The Audit and Assurance Committee provides assurance to the Board on the effectiveness of the Charity’s systems of internal control, risk management, financial reporting and regulatory compliance. The Committee play a key role in ensuring that these areas are appropriately managed and are subject to robust oversight.
Development Committee
The Development Committee oversees the identification and assessment of development opportunities, including new schemes, extensions and modernisation projects, before making recommendations to the Board. The Committee also ensures that the frameworks used to appraise new opportunities remain effective and fit for purpose. In addition, it provides oversight of construction procurement processes and monitors performance relating to sales and resales activity.
Nominations and Remuneration Committee
The Committee leads on Board and Executive succession planning, including recruitment, skills assessment and performance review. It ensures that the Charity has the leadership capability required to deliver its strategy now and in the future. It also provides oversight of remuneration arrangements for the Executive Team, helping to ensure they are fair, aligned to performance and support the recruitment and retention of high calibre leaders.
Operations Committee.
The Operations Committee provides assurance to the Board on the delivery of the Charity’s core model across all communities, including housing, lifestyle and care. It monitors operational performance, resource management and key risks. The Committee also supports the development and approval of operational policies and strategies, with particular focus on areas such as consumer standards and complaints, helping to ensure that services remain effective, responsive and resident focused.
