Health and Safety
Our approach to Health and Safety is embedded into our wider risk management framework, with health and safety, including fire safety, identified as key risks.
These are subject to ongoing oversight and scrutiny by the Audit and Assurance Committee. We maintain a comprehensive policy framework to support compliance with all relevant legislation, with a designated Health and Safety Manager fulfilling the role of competent person in accordance with statutory requirements.
We operate a structured approach to property compliance to ensure that our buildings remain safe and meet all regulatory standards. Responsibility for compliance sits with our Head of Property and Environment, with a focus on key areas including gas safety, lift maintenance, water hygiene, fire safety servicing and fire risk assessments, and asbestos management.
