Our Board Responsibilities

The powers of our Trustees are defined in the Charity’s Articles of Association 
 

The Board of Trustees is collectively responsible for the long-term success of the Charity and is accountable to Members and other stakeholders. It sets the strategic direction of ExtraCare, including defining our vision, mission and values, and holds the Chief Executive and Executive Leadership Team to account for performance, governance and standards of conduct. The Board also ensures that the Charity complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. The responsibilities of our Board are set out in the  Board Terms of Reference and Matters Reserved for the Board.
