Every time we sell somwthing belonging to you, we can raise 25% more from the government through Gift Aid, at no extra cost to you.
Gift Aid is a scheme run by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) that allows charities like The ExtraCare Charitable Trust to reclaim the tax on donations by UK taxpayers. By registering for our Retail Gift Aid scheme, we can claim the Gift Aid on goods that you bring into our shops which we are able to sell, making your donations go further. We can claim an extra 25p for every £1 we raise from selling your goods (£1 becomes £1.25). You would be amazed at how quickly this mounts up and how much difference it makes!
Gift Aid supports our vital care services, including our award-winning Care, Well-being and Dementia Services. It provides a much-needed boost to income and is a considerable help in us being able to continue to deliver care and support to our residents.
If you would like to sign up, please complete the Retail Gift Aid Donor Declaration Form below. PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST BE A UK TAXPAYER TO JOIN. After you have submitted the form, you will need to label your donations. You can either
print your own labels here
or if you do not have access to a printer, you can request for some to be posted to you by
filling in the online form here.
Thank you for supporting The ExtraCare Charitable Trust and helping to achieve better lives for older people; it is very much appreciated.
