Birmingham's Hagley Road Village, in Edgbaston, is one of five inspirational Village communities across the City, providing independence, social opportunity and an enriching lifestyle in later life - a real alternative to the traditional care home.
The Village opened in October 2013 and provides 241 homes for over 300 residents. It contains spacious, comfortable apartments for rent and sale and a fabulous host of social and leisure facilities all set within landscaped gardens.
Homes at the Village are available for rent, shared ownership and outright purchase. Any person over the age of 55 is eligible to apply for a home in the Village. Whilst priority is given to local people or those who have a local connection, some homes are also available to people living outside Birmingham without a local connection.
Care is available within the Village for those who are assessed as needing support, now or in the future, and can be delivered during the day or night time by one of ExtraCare's qualified staff team. If you would like to find out more, why not get in touch?
