A statement from The ExtraCare Charitable Trust:

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust (‘ExtraCare’) can confirm that, after much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end the management arrangements at two of our locations owned by Your Housing Group: Brunswick Gardens Village in Sheffield and Reeve Court Village in St Helens. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of both ExtraCare and Your Housing Group, an agreement which worked for both parties moving forward was unable to be reached. Communication has already been issued to staff and residents at both locations.

By 31st January 2025, ExtraCare will no longer deliver services at these locations. The consideration of staff and residents remains our priority throughout this process, and we will continue to support them closely through the transition period, working with Your Housing Group to ensure as smooth a process as possible.
