The ExtraCare Charitable Trust currently runs over 60 charity shops across the UK. We are currently growing and have an aggressive expansion plan for the next five years. Our charity shops fund creating better lives for older people through our Sheltered Housing Schemes and Retirement Villages' activity and event programme.
Your charity shop will have a direct impact on older people enriching their lives as they will be able to benefit from a wide range of activities from cake decorating to woodwork classes. These classes reduce social isolation and improve people's mental and physical well-being by keeping them active in their later years.
Due to expansion plans we are looking to recruit new Shop Managers and Deputy Shop Managers.
Each shop has a full time Shop Manager, a part time Deputy Manager and a lot of willing and dedicated volunteers. Our teams are made up of people from all walks of life and all with one thing in common - they are passionate about our charity.
We are looking for team members who can use their creative skills to generate donations, deliver a great customer experience and drive sales through the development of their team.
You will be tasked with sorting donations and motivating your staff team whilst carrying out typical retail duties such as reconciling the till and ensuring that the shop is accessible to all.
