Situated in nearly four acres on the former Powergen site, the 260-home Village is on the corner of the Stratford Road and Haslucks Green Road, around 10 minutes from the M42 and an easy bus ride away from central Birmingham.

The Village site is also just across the road from the recently-completed Parkgate shopping centre, and is part of a wider nine-acre development that will include 113 other new homes.

Solihull Village will provide a whole range of communal social and leisure facilities in the village centre which will be open to residents, their families and members of the wider local community. These will include a village hall, library and IT suite, bar and bistro, fitness gym, hairdressing and beauty salon and shop.

Up to 50 activities could be on offer per week including art classes, tai chi, yoga, computer classes and gardening, some sessions run by residents through a range of enriching volunteer opportunities.

Care and support will be available within the village to all residents should they need it, delivered by ExtraCare's dedicated staff team. A well-being and specialist dementia service will also be located within the Village Centre.
