Memory Walk in Wolverhampton raises £180

12th October, 2015

More than 40 residents, staff, volunteers and relatives at Broadway Gardens took part in a memory walk in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.

The walk was round Northwood Park and four buckets were carried to collect funds.

After the walk, tea and cakes made by staff members Jake Cutler and Sarah Colley were sold and with other donations from neighbouring shops and members of the local community, £180 was raised during the day.

During the walk white and blue balloons carried by the walkers were released.

The day was organised by Broadway's Locksmith, Balbeir Gill, who reports that everyone enjoyed the event and were pleased with the amount raised.
