ExtraCare welcomes Judith Doran as new Head of People

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Judith Doran as its new Head of People.



In her role, Judith will lead on the delivery of ExtraCare’s People Strategy including talent management, recruitment, employee-engagement, training and development, and recognition and reward. She will also manage the effective delivery of the HR service including business partnering.

Judith comments: “I’m delighted to join the charity. I have a real passion for developing people and I’m excited for the opportunity and challenge to further implement our people strategy. I’m already very impressed with the warmth and helpfulness of the people I've met. My first impression is that I’m now working for an organisation with great ambition and lots to do, and more importantly an organisation with heart.”

Judith’s experience in HR spans more than 25 years. She joins ExtraCare from the National College for Advanced Transport & Infrastructure where she was employed as Head of Human Resources. Prior to that she worked as Director of People for the Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

To deliver our vision and mission we essentially do three things: we develop new villages, we operate villages and schemes, and we support our villages, schemes and our ‘extra-care’ model through fundraising, advocacy and research.
