A new entertainer at Stoke-on-Trent Scheme

2nd October, 2015

Local postman Leigh Wilson has proved a popular singer and entertainer at ExtraCare's Camoys Court in Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent.

According to Activity Co-ordinator Angela Pugh it was while delivering mail at the Scheme that Leigh asked if he could put a card advertising himself as a singer.

"As you can image we said yes on condition he came and sang for us!" she explains.

That was three years ago and Leigh is now a regular entertainer at Camoys and has also visited St Dominic’s Court and Berryhill Village as a result of Camoys’ recommendation.

Angela adds: "The residents always love a night with Leigh on the mike as he is a great singer but also someone we all know and love. He's also a good comedian and we have lots of laughs with him."
