ExtraCare relies on the support of over 3,500 volunteers who make a huge difference to residents’ quality of life. The range of opportunities is as varied as our volunteers themselves – you might like to try befriending or helping us with a myriad of different activities. Some of the people we support are not as mobile as they once were, but this doesn’t diminish their ability to enjoy life – a little help from a volunteer can go a long way.
You could be helping on days out, assisting with the smooth running of the Village coffee shop, IT suite, woodworking or craft rooms. Alternatively you might like to volunteer to help at our charity shops.
As an ExtraCare volunteer you will be insured, paid expenses, trained, well supported and highly valued.
