5th October, 2011

School Court residents enjoyed a fun-filled morning with Cadburys Spots and Stripes Activities to kick off October.

The Olympic and Paralympic sponsors of London 2012 provided games for everyone to enjoy, with the favourite of the day being giant snakes and ladders as well as the ever-popular Jenga.

Residents had a good time with the simple activities, encouraged by staff, and also spent some time reminiscing about early experiences of playing similar games.

Activity Co-ordinator Jo Woods said that the full range of Spots and Stripes activities was not available, so residents and staff at the scheme in Hednesford are hoping for a return visit which will involve more activities. She added that she was disappointed not to be given any free chocolate from Cadburys!

Resident Celia Raines said that she had a great deal of fun and is looking forward to a return visit soon.
