The Olympic and Paralympic sponsors of London 2012 provided
games for everyone to enjoy, with the favourite of the day being
giant snakes and ladders as well as the ever-popular Jenga.
Residents had a good time with the simple activities, encouraged
by staff, and also spent some time reminiscing about early
experiences of playing similar games.
Activity Co-ordinator Jo Woods said that the full range of Spots
and Stripes activities was not available, so residents and staff at
the scheme in Hednesford are hoping for a return visit which will
involve more activities. She added that she was disappointed not to
be given any free chocolate from Cadburys!
Resident Celia Raines said that she had a great deal of fun and
is looking forward to a return visit soon.
