The scheme's on-site Well-being Advisor Lucy Lloyd held a Bones Awareness Day for the residents at the scheme on Hartshill Road, Stoke-on-Trent.

Twelve residents came along and discussed how they could best keep themselves healthy, as well as learning about how to improve their diet to have stronger bones as they age and looking at a paper skeleton.

They also talked about the importance of exercising, and used a giant inflatable bowling set to keep fit during the day.

Activity Co-ordinator Eileen Hargreaves said that residents enjoyed the day very much and learnt a lot.
