A Busy Christmas at Rosewood Court

13th December, 2011

Residents at Rosewood Court in Wellingborough have begun their Christmas festivities with an exciting bazaar.

Father Christmas made an appearance at the ExtraCare scheme's bazaar, and one staff member even brought in Tiggsy the dog, who spent the day dressed up as Santa's helper.

Activity Co-ordinator Megan Neilan said the afternoon was lovely. "We had a lot of visitors and everyone enjoyed themselves. Santa came as well, which was brilliant of him to pop in! We wish to thank everyone, staff and residents and volunteers, who made this all possible. Thank you!"

Guests wrote on Rosewood Court's Facebook wall after the event to congratulate them on how well the day went.

Rosewood's Christmas calendar continues to be exciting: they have a Christmas High Tea this Saturday, where relatives can come and celebrate Christmas with the residents, as well as a residents' Christmas party next Monday, along with a raffle.
