Cause Related Marketing
According to a Business in the Community Survey, 83% of consumers
have purchased a product because of its association with a charity.
It helps your product to stand out in a crowded market place and
helps to build brand awareness. Older people make up an
ever-increasing proportion of the consumer population.
Chosen Charity
Many companies adopt a charity, either as "Charity of the Year" or
over a longer period of time. This allows you to develop a close
working relationship which focuses your fundraising efforts, helps
to involve employees, and increases the impact of your charitable
support.
Employee volunteering
ExtraCare has many volunteers supporting us - helping to run
activities, offering one-to-one support of our residents or even
helping on reception or in the shop in one of our villages.
Volunteering helps to motivate people, helps them to learn new
skills, and really makes them feel they are giving something back
to the community. It's an ideal "win-win" for everyone.
Taking part in our fundraising events
Whether it's a golf day, quiz evening, corporate challenge day, or
a curry evening - taking part can help encourage team building and
communication.
Sponsorship
We have many activities and events which are available for
sponsorship. Local fundraising events, appeal launches,
ExtraCare-wide events like our 'Parasol Parade', annual concert,
and a whole host of village activities give you the perfect
opportunity to promote your image and demonstrate commitment to the
local community.
Payroll Giving
Payroll giving schemes are simple to run, and an easy way for your
staff to help us provide better lives. Running a payroll giving
scheme is a good way to show that your company cares, and as your
employees won't pay tax on their charitable gifts, it's another
win-win situation for all.
A great partnership...
These are just some of the ways we can work together as
partners. We can help you achieve your corporate social
responsibility goals and you can support us in the communities
where we are helping older people, and their families and carers,
to really live life to the full.

"When I saw ExtraCare's plans for supporting older people,
I was very keen to get involved. Being able to have such an impact
on the quality of life of so many people is very inspiring!"
