In a Nutshell
Heather Yapp (Manager) says: "Our resident 'interest groups' are thriving. In particular we are helping our residents to better access communications, with IT literacy groups supporting access to internet, email and Skype. We have a comprehensive activities programme which includes the wider community and good relationships with local societies, schools, colleges and shops - including ExtraCare's Evesham Charity Shop."

Kath Cole (resident): Kath has lived at Yates Court since 2008. She says: "I like living here; it's a lovely place."

Kath enjoys going on trips and, after a coach tour round the Vale of Evesham, she was looking forward to an outing to Weston-super-Mare. She's also been to ExtraCare events, including a Christmas concert at Symphony Hall, Birmingham.

Kath is disabled and has to use a wheelchair at times, but she's very impressed with the wonderful support workers at the scheme if she needs assistance.
