In a Nutshell
A Lovat Fields resident and her relative talk about their past and future on Radio 4's Generation Gap Programme - Listen here.

Steve Neal (Manager): "This Village hosts a wealth of talent amongst residents who are engaged with life and their future. I am often amazed at the activity, debate and goodwill that seems to make this place flourish - we don't always get it right but we all work hard together and it's a priviledge to be a part of it!"

Maureen O'Neill (resident): "I can't think highly enough about the Village; it's excellent. The whole village concept for older people is fantastic. It's not like a nursing or residential home.

"The friendliness of the people living here has been exceptional and there's always someone to help if you have problems."

Chris Willis (resident): Since moving into the Village, Chris, who has multiple sclerosis, says her health has improved beyond recognition. She used to spend most of her time in a wheelchair and couldn't walk but now with the support of her carers and some visits to the gym, the wheelchair has gone.

"They gave me the inspiration to get up and go. ExtraCare really works and I'm now a different person."
