In a Nutshell
Julie Talbot, former manager: "We have our own theatre group and
choir. The staff team is like a family - it's a great
atmosphere."
Whenever possible, Pat Bolton (resident) is involved in
Village activities including the drama group, the choir, gardening
and cooking. She's also won awards at a Village in Bloom event for
her chocolate delight!
Pat is a former hospital matron and midwife, having spent all
her life in nursing in various parts of the country. Although she
regularly spends time in hospital, the 24 hour care on offer in the
Village is vital to her.
"My disabilities are a problem but I still enjoy life - and I
enjoy being a part of the fundraising team," says Pat who was
recently involved in painting the scenery for the Village's drama
production.
